  • Kristi - Critical Care Team Leader

    Kristi was born in Pennsylvania but has lived in Jacksonville most of her life.  She entered the veterinary workforce after receiving her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Central Florida. She has been an animal lover all of her life and is devoted to her own pampered pet named Lizzy, a Miniature Dachshund.  In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as kayaking and spending time at the beach.

  • Angelina "Lina" - Critical Care Techncian, CVT

    Angelina, AKA Lina, is originally from St. Paul Minnesota. She moved to Jacksonville in 2011 to escape the cold and to further her career. Lina has her A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology and has her B.A.S. degree in Veterinary Technology. Lina is a Certified Veterinary Technician through the Florida Veterinary Technician Association. In her spare time, Lina and her husband Brandon enjoy taking care of their fur babies. They are the proud parents of a French Bulldog named Minion, a Devon Rex named Yoda, and a tuxedeo DSH named Renegade.

  • Chandler - Critical Care Technician

    Chandler is a true Jacksonville native.  She entered the field of veterinary medicine 8 years ago after discovering her passion for working with animals.  She loves the nursing care involved and making a difference in the lives of our four-legged friends.  In her free time, Chandler cares for her own furry, canine friend named Atlas.

  • Tierra - Critical Care Technician

    Tierra is originally from Montgomery, Alabama. She moved to Jacksonville and graduated from Paxon High School from their Advanced Studies program. She is currently attending Auburn University. She was raised by an aspiring vet, discovered her true passion in animals, and now wants to help the furry population in any way she can!

    Tierra is a happy furmama to five furbabies.  She has 3 puppies (Saban, Wendy, and Caspar) and 2 kitties (Scully and Mulder) which keep her fairly busy after-hours.

  • Cristina - Critical Care Technician

    Cristina moved to Jacksonville one year ago from the North Carolina area.  She has been in the veterinary field for 5 years and is currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of North Florida.  She and her husband are the proud parents of 2 dogs named Bo and Tucker, a cat named Gato, and a hedgehog named Harley Quill.  When she is not working, Cristina can either be found at the gym working out or at the library studying for her exams.  She also enjoys singing Opera in her free time. 

  • Angelica - ER Technician

    Angel is part of a military family 3 generations deep and proudly serves as a member of the Naval Reserve.  Within the service, she is a Master at Arms and has been involved in training military service dogs.  She has been working with animals since the age of 17 and has loved honing her veterinary technical skills at Capital Veterinary Specialists Jax. In her free time, she enjoys sharpening her skills at the range.  At home, Angel is surrounded by a large fur family with 2 dogs (Emmie and Ollie), 3 cats (Meeko, Burrito, and Lawrence), and a rat named Maggie.

  • Jeanna - ER Technician

    Jeanna is originally from Savannah, GA but moved here with her husband in 3 years ago. She has been working in the veterinary field for the last 5 years starting as a receptionist and moving on to a technician. She has experience in both general practice and emergency medicine. She started working with us this past June with hopes of broadening her horizons in veterinary medicine. She has aspirations of becoming a veterinarian herself one day.  

    Outside of Capital, she enjoys reading, going to the beach, and spending time with family and friends. She is the proud owner of three cats: Biscuit the grey tabby, Gravy the tripod, and Callie the calico.

  • Evan - ER Technician

    Evan is originally from Long Island, NY but is now happy to call Jacksonville home.  He has been working with animals since the age of 14 and has found his calling in our surgery and anesthesia department.  Evan is the proud father of a gorgeous, little Maltese named Cora and Jack-Jack, an adorable, domestic shorthair cat.  Evan and his wife are film fanatics and can be found at the theater most opening nights.
